Krista was born and raised in Washington State, 2 miles south of the Canadian border. She grew up in a ministry minded home as one of the great-granddaughters of the founder of Prairie Bible Institute in Three Hills Alberta, now known as Prairie College. She learned from an early age that “all have sinned”, and committed to following
God at 8 years old.
She went through schooling as a typical homeschooler, with an average goal of wanting to be successful. While she wanted to serve the Lord, there was no real understanding of how to do that since she viewed ministry as something optional for specific people. It was not until she interned with In The Gap Leadership Academy (OK) that she gained a vision of how much our perspective of eternity truly matters in our everyday life. Over time she had been developing a love for communicating via social media and using her skills with photography/videography in this way. For the past 7 years, she has been a teacher with Good News Clubs® and is thrilled to use her gifts to further the Gospel as Media Coordinator.
Outside of CEF®, she would tell you a few of her favorite things are sunshine, coffee and spending time with her family.
